On Aug. 14, Lee County Sheriffs’ Deputies and Tupelo Police Detectives located and arrested Ambra Zinn, 30. Zinn has been charged with murder relating to a homicide reported August 12 in the 1000 block of Eisenhower Drive.
“The sheriff’s department assisted Tupelo police detectives. We actually have located all three individuals who are connected to this (murder), Zinn and two others,” said Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson. “One female suspect, from Shannon, was charged yesterday (Tuesday) with accessory after the fact of murder.”
On Aug. 14, Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green identified the deceased woman as Kelly Gable Conway, 51, of Tupelo. The preliminary autopsy reports show Conway died from a single gunshot wound. Green would not release the location of the wound.
Conway had recently been held at the Lee County jail for 17 days on a bad check charge. She was released three days before her death.
“We located and arrested a male suspect, with Zinn in Verona, outside the city limits, within the Lee County jurisdiction,” Johnson said.
The names of the other two suspects had not been released, as of presstime Wednesday. All three are being housed at the Lee County Jail.
It's unclear if Zinn has a lawyer, or if a judge has considered bail for the other two. This case remains under investigation.
