Dear editor,

I am searching for information on Laura J. Fuller Moore, born June 1886. She was daughter of Isom Calvin Fuller and Elizabeth “Betsy” Yealock Fuller.

She was sister to my great grandfather Adolphus Fuller (1874-1956) who is buried at Lindsey Cemetery, near Dennis in Tishomingo County. The obituary for his brother Elmer Gilbert Fuller who died July 1951 lists her as sister/survivor “Mrs. Will Moore of Baldwyn.” She married James W. Moore around 1905.

The 1910 Census, Tishomingo County, MS, shows her and James W. with two children, Audra age 3 and Arthur, age 1. The 1920 Census, Tishomingo County, MS shows them with the two children, Audra. age 12, and Arthur L., age 10. The 1930 Census, Tishomingo County, MS shows them with two sons, Tavis J., age 10 and Paul A., age 5.

I don’t know when they moved to Baldwyn or if she lived in Baldwyn after 1951, but am particularly interested in knowing when she and Will died and where they are buried. I was unable to find them in the Tishomingo or Prentiss County Cemeteries books; because they lived in Baldwyn, it’s more likely they may have been buried in Lee County. Hoping Laura and Will may have descendants still living in Northeast Mississippi.
