Richard Allen “Rich” Faulkner, 60, died Monday, March 8, 2021 at North Miss. Medical Center Hospice after a brief illness. Born Feb. 2, 1961 in Tupelo to the late Donald Gayle Faulkner and Alice Nell Wallace Faulkner, Rich attended the public schools at Mooreville. He served in the Mississippi National Guard receiving an honorable discharge. He spent his working life as a master mechanic. Rich worked over 30 years for Tom’s Automotive in Tupelo. He enjoyed hot rods, collecting guns, being outdoors camping and hunting but his great joy was being with his family. A graveside service celebrating his life was held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Andrews Chapel Cemetery with Bro. David Parker officiating. His daughter, Brandy Faulkner, delivered family reflections. Rich is survived by his wife, Sherry Duckworth Faulkner, to whom he married 39 years ago on Feb. 13, 1982; his daughter, Brandy Faulkner of Skyline; a brother, Michael Faulkner of Skyline, his mother-in-law, Shirley Duckworth of Baldwyn; a sister in law, Lisa Matthews of Baldwyn; 2 brothers-in-law, Hanford Duckworth and Terry Duckworth. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Donny Faulkner, in November 2019. Pallbearers were Jeffrey Spencer, Mike Faulkner, David Chrestman, Frank Murrell and Ronnie Martin.
