Suspects  sought

The latest image of the robbery suspects.

As of presstime Wednesday, May 8, the Tupelo Police Department was still looking for the two suspects who reportedly robbed a banking institution.

The robbery took place at the Brightview Federal Credit Union. The business is located on 924 Harmoney Lane, in the Barnes Crossing District.

On Tuesday, TPD Capt. Charles McDougald released these two new images from surveillance cameras, one ot the two men allegedly involved and the other of their vehicle.

No injuries have been reported at the time of the robbery.

One suspect is described as a white male, possibly in his sixties with a thin build. The male reportedly left the scene in a standard cab white Chevrolet pick-up truck driven by a second person.

McDougald confirmed a younger man appeared to be the getaway driver. He was wearing a dark-colored T-shirt and shorts.
