On Nov. 19, 2020 the Lee County Sheriff Dept. along with the North MS. Narcotic Unit executed two search warrants at 4907 A. Raymond Avenue in Verona.
Upon executing the search warrants the Sheriff Dept. and Agents found a felony amount of crack cocaine, felony amount of marijuana, felony amount of methamphetamine and a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol.
Agents also seized $1,331 in cash and a 2004 Infinity SUV.
Arrested were Marcus Satterwhite, Juana Toney and Jamie Fields; all three have extensive drug arrest in the past.
Satterwhite, 43, lived at 4907 A Apt. 162 Raymond Ave., Verona. He was charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Crack Cocaine. His bond was set at $10,000.
Toney; 46, also lived at 4907 A Apt. 162 Raymond Ave., Verona. She was charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Crack Cocaine. His bond was also set at $10,000.
Fields; 31, lived at1353 Red Circle Tupelo. He was charged with Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance – Marijuana, (2) Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, and (3) Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon. His bond was set at $50,000.
All three have already bonded out.Methamphetamine (also known as meth or crystal meth) is a very addictive drug. Because the "high" from the drug both starts and fades quickly, people often take repeated doses in a “binge and crash” pattern. In some cases, people take methamphetamine in a form of binging known as a "run," giving up food and sleep while continuing to take the drug every few hours for up to several days.
