Who’s who of rocker fame hit stage with epic jam session

The rock and roll hall of fame in concert: encore

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has finally started inducting those for the alternative pallete, including Alice Cooper, Randy Newman and Tom Waits. The rock and roll hall of fame in concert: encore is a front row seat to this prestigious black-tie ceremony where many of the performers had to borrow a tie. You’ll see the legendary Canadian power- trio RUSH rip through “Tom Sawyer” and “The Spirit of Radio.” Alice Cooper closes out a three-song set with “School’s Out” with Rob Zombie helping out, as does the McDonald’s House choir. There are also special moments like an ailing Leon Russell who thanks Elton John for reaching down into the gutter and pulling him out for one last hurrah. Neil Young inducts the world’s craziest singer, songwriter Tom Waits, who comments some of the people he would like to thank are “on the wrong side of the dirt.” Darlene Love, Donovan, Dr. John, Heart, The Holies, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers also perform. This is a must-own for any lover of rock and roll. Tune in and turn on.
