Seal Team propels stories with realism

Seal Team - Season 3

SEAL Team began airing on CBS on Sept. 27, 2017. In May 2020, the series was renewed for a fourth season.

The series follows Bravo Team, a sub-unit of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group, the most elite unit of Navy SEALs, as they plan and undertake dangerous missions worldwide with little notice, and the burden on them and their families.

Master Chief Special Warfare Operator Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) is their leader, a complex man who by season 3 is suffering with bouts of insomnia, due to noticing the number of men, still on his cell phone, who have passed in the line of duty.

In the third episode, Bravo Team is sent to Azerbaijan to help an American soldier retake a power plant in order to avoid political instability in the area. The team welcomes a new commanding officer, who forces Clay to stop his attempts on raising awareness of traumatic brain injuries following Swanny's suicide. Meanwhile, Jason is still reeling on the aftermath of his mission in Serbia and Ray decides to become a Warrant Officer to support his family. Sonny and Lisa struggle to make time for their relationship.

The realism and filmography propel the story lines.
