The North Lee Civitan Club recently requested nominations for one man and one woman from Saltillo who deserved the honor of being named Saltillo Citizens of the Year.

The votes are in and the winners are Debi and Mike Golebiewski, who have lived in  Saltillo for 12 years now.

M. Golebiewski owns Contract Computer Services, Inc. which relocated to Saltillo from Tupelo in 2007.  He attended University of Mississippi before beginning his business career in 1987.

CCS does computer repair and services their large client-base of commercial accounts located all over the South. This year, CCS celebrated its 25th anniversary.

In August, D. Golebiewski opened her new company, Healing Ways Nutrition Shoppe.

Healing Ways is a unique type of shoppe because it works one-on-one with each client depending on their disease or ailment. Before opening her shoppe, she attended classes at University of Mississippi in Alternative and Complementary Medicine and Natural Health and Healing.

Healing Ways sells supplements, vitamins, gluten-free products, healthy products for pets, beauty products, homemade candles and a line of religious jewelry.

She has just completed her first book, a cookbook, designed for starting your own new lifestyle of eating healthier. Both businesses are located at 1661 Highway 45 in Saltillo.

The Golebiewskis are members of First Baptist Church in Saltillo.  A reception was held on Nov. 11, at the Saltillo City Hall in their honor.  They will serve as Grand Marshalls of the Saltillo City Christmas Parade this year.
