Wanda Gatlin-Sullivan of Tupelo, and Tim and Theresa Hankins of Mantachie announce the engagement of their daughter, Jade Lafae Hankins, to Austin Glenn Kimbrough, son of Ronnie and Cindy Kimbrough of Saltillo.

Grandparents of the bride-elect are Mike and Bille Webb or Marietta; Jim and Jane Gatlin of Oxford; and Bobby and Joan Hankins of Booneville.

Grandparents of the prospective groom are Carolyn and the late Bobby Kingsley; and the late James and Neta Kimbrough.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Mooreville High School, where she was president of the student council, a Beta Club member and a member of the state championship softball teams of 2003 and 2006. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa at Itawamba Community College and is currently majoring in elementary education at the University of Mississippi.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Mooreville High School, where he was a member of the state championship baseball teams of 2001 and 2002. He attended ICC and played baseball in 2003 and 2004. He graduated from Blue Mountain College. He is currently the admission recruiter and an assistant baseball coach at Blue Mountain College. He also serves as the youth minister for Oak Hill Baptists Church in Booneville.

The couple will be united in marriage on Jan. 8, 2011, at 5 p.m. at the Auburn Baptist Church in Tupelo. A reception will follow at the Bouldin Building in Tupelo.

Family and friends are invited.
