There is lots of good news for those, like me, who tune in regularly to watch the greatest cop family ever.
On April 12, 2019, CBS renewed the Blue Bloods for a tenth season; it is scheduled to premiere on September 27, 2019, which will celebrate its 200th episode milestone.
In case you missed some or all of season 9, it’s now available on DVD and Blu Ray.
The first episode grabs quick attention with Danny Reagan (Danny Wahlberg) getting personal with a case involving drug cartel member Luis Delgado (Lou Diamond Phillips), whom Danny believes is responsible for torching his former house. Delgado smugly admits to being behind the deed, while also hinting that the cartel may have had something to do with the death of Danny's wife Linda.
In another arson case, Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie (Vanessa Ray) investigate where Eddie narrowly escapes serious injury. Jamie and Eddie are also trying to work out, staying partners on the force while planning their wedding.
Of course, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) is the New York Police Commissioner, and heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry (Len Cariou), during his stint as Chief.
